Julia Carias-Linares is a producer and television executive whose career trajectory has taken her into TV, motion pictures, short films, commercials and digital content. Carias-Linares’ expertise is in sourcing projects, developing talent and securing intellectual properties. She has worked for three of A+E Television Networks’ brands – Lifetime, A&E and fyi,. Carias-Linares was part of the Development and Programming core team that successfully re-branded the Biography channel into fyi, into the number one upscale entertainment network on ad-supported cable in 2015.

She has worked on top-rated series including Married Life (2017 Primetime Emmy Consideration), Married At First Sight (2015 Critics Choice Awards Nominee), Seven Year Switch and many more. In 2017, Carias-Linares, executive produced Kiki Mobile a reality, mobile entertainment news series, covering celebrity interviews, set visits, and red carpets. As a fearless entrepreneur, Carias-Linares is known for creating opportunities for herself which is why it is not surprising she leveraged her love for interior design and background in television home shows to bid for a home staging job with one of NYC’s top luxury residential real estate brokers. With a sharp eye for design, she beat out some well-established home-stager-designers to design her first million-dollar property. In December 2016, she and her husband, Alfredo launched JCL Staging & Design LLC, a company specializing in staging and designing luxurious residential real estate listings in New York City, Miami & Los Angeles. In September 2016, she successfully produced Latin Hollywood Films and Latin Heat Media Institute’s first-ever independent television sizzle reel upfront in NYC & Los Angeles - two events that showcased eleven original presentations across genres for the general market with multicultural talent in-front and behind the camera. Exactly a year and two days from the sizzle reel upfront presentations, she brokered a deal as the key executive who got one of the concepts a 13-episode deal on A+E Networks. Carias-Linares served as digital producer for the 2012 Napa Valley Film Festival, under the Feast It Forward Network, handling red carpet coverage and celebrity interviews.

She has produced for BET Networks and the National Council of La Raza’s 2010 Vote For Respect campaign. Carias-Linares has cast national television commercials for Sensodyne, Toys R Us, Time Warner, Optimum and The Hispanic Scholarship Fund. Carias-Linares has written for New York’s number one Hispanic daily, El Diario/La Prensa, the oldest Spanish-language daily in the United States. She studied acting at the renowned American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. Committed to giving back to her community, she donates countless hours to many community driven causes and is often invited to participate in variety of professional panels. She sits on the Board of Directors for the 100 Hispanic Women, Westchester Chapter – a national organization that promotes enrichment opportunities and support young women aspirations for higher education. She is also a member of A+E Networks’ MIT – Multicultural Insight Team – a group dedicated to promoting multicultural inclusion that impacts the company’s programming and overall culture.
